IN APPRECIATION— A beaming Bishop Dominic A. Marconi, who retired July 1 from active ministry, admires the new Pectoral Cross presented to him Sunday afternoon during a tribute for almost half a century in the priesthood that included 26 years as Regional Bishop for Union County.

Making the presentation are Father Benedict Worry, Pastor of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Linden, where Bishop Marconi lived, and Archbishop John J. Myers.
